I think the problem is that there are 12 states with Big Ten universities
the issue facing the conference was a bit more broad than the very positive numbers in one state.
Either way, the players are suing the wrong people. Nebraska is choosing to stay on good terms with the Big Ten and, presumably, the incredibly lucrative revenue stream provided by the conference. There is nothing else stopping them from going rogue and playing football against whoever will schedule them.
If the players want to light money on fire with lawyers they should sue their university.
