Has the NCAA commented at all on what I guess would be "medical redshirts"


for people opting out of a season? I'm not familiar with how the eligibility rules work. Is a clock ticking or could they take a year off from games and play again later? Don't Mormon players frequently go on Missions and still have eligibility when they come back?
