This is kind of true...During my playing days at Delaware, we would stay


out after games on Saturday night until 6 or 7 the next morning (Sunday). We then had Sunday practice where we watched game film, ran 15 100's in less than some designated time (14 to 15 seconds for LBs for example) with 45 second rest in between, and had a light weightlifting session. Now that I'm pushing 40, it's absolutely unbelievable to me that I used to do that.

My senior year, we would sometimes go out on Mondays, our day off, to the bar to watch Monday night football. Tuesday's were our hardest day of the week - full pads with thud, full inside run, full one-on-one sessions, plus sprints at the end.
