Another Five Star commits to Miami

Manny Diaz may not be able to coach, TBD, but he can certainly recruit and address weaknesses immediately.

Last year was a dumpster fire in his first season no doubt.

But they had the worst kicker in all of division 1-A. He replaced him with a graduate transfer with a huge leg.

They had an immature quarterback with all kinds of off the field issues. He replaced him with the top dual threat graduate transfer in the country. The kid from Houston.

They had a young and horrible offensive line. He hired a new coach there and got another graduate transfer with four years of starting experience. Plus recruited two four stars.

He also got the top defensive graduate transfer from Temple. That kid was also looking at the Hokies.

And most importantly to me, he hired Ed Reed as Chief of Staff. All Ed ever does is win big wherever he is. It can't hurt to have the greatest safety in NFL history when talking with high school kids.

So now he is following up a top 10 recruiting class with what will likely end up being a top five class, as there are at least two other five stars that may end up in Coral Gables.

So what do we think? Is the U really going to be back finally? Or will their culture find a way to destroy this like the past 20 years? I think he wins a national title inside of 5 years and then ends up with the death penalty
