Whit and TILI kept the imposition of premiums secret for over a year until they announced it via town hall meetings. TILI did a horrible job on the roll out, and kept right on trucking.
Whit's MO is to play his cards very close to the vest, only release the minimum amount of info he deems to release, and keep right on trucking. Why should this instance be any different? Pete Moris is analogous to TILI. What shade they can't throw on Fuente and the football staff, will be absorbed by Moris. TILI went to Arkansas, and Moris will go somewhere else, probably with quiet help from Whit as a reward for being a good lieutenant.
Wurthman can only give so much information about refunds, not only because he hasn't been told, but because it hasn't been decided by Whit. In fairness to Whit (which at this point I'm loathe to do), decisions will be made by the ACC university presidents, and Dr. Sands. The cacophony of silence is overwhelming.
Now with all this time Whit has on his hands (because powers above him are deciding), it's inexcusable that this messaging cluster has gotten to this point. Has Whit disappeared to Wisconsin with Pete Moris? Has anybody had a Whit sighting? The only one I can personally recall is the video about changes in the tunnel, and he was so busy doing AD stuff that he didn't even notify the football coaches about the changes. And, that notification was almost a week after the issuance of the video. What the hell is he doing?
That email I sent to Brad today, and which he responded to in hours, was after someone suggested I contact Gabbard. Gabbard is no more responsive than Whit, and Whit's answers are only an auto-reply. Soon, seat selection and sales of MBB tickets will begin, and Whit is as communicative as Moris. I think this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
