...VT didn't specifically go after "undersized" players. That is a myth that continues to be repeated on TSL.

This goes back to Frank building his team to beat Miami, who was the top dog in the Big East. He knew he wasn't going to beat Miami with big slow players because Miami would just go around them to score, over and over again. Frank started moving guys to positions that they had the speed to play. When VT could get big & fast players, they played their natural position.

But I know people will continue pushing the narrative that VT preferred "undersized" players...
