Touting it as a miracle drug is dangerous. The drug itself has side

effects. I'm not sure why you're arguing that other then you've simply made up your mind and no amount of facts are going to change it. If you want to do more in-depth studies on it, go for it. If you want to use it as a treatment on an individual basis where the patient and the doctor decide the potential side effects are worth it, go for it. If you want to come onto the internet and tout it as some sort of cure-all that everyone should take because there's no chance for any complications then that's a problem. And no I'm not talking about giving someone 1,000 times the amount.

"The FDA is aware of reports of serious heart rhythm problems in patients with COVID-19 treated with hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, often in combination with azithromycin and other QT prolonging medicines. We are also aware of increased use of these medicines through outpatient prescriptions. Therefore, we would like to remind health care professionals and patients of the known risks associated with both hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine. We will continue to investigate risks associated with the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for COVID-19 and communicate publicly when we have more information."
