College football is different now
ITs college football inc
Its no longer a group of players coming together for state u.... but
1. get the national championship, maximimize revenues, and endorsements and media
2. increasing in salaries and number of personnel supporting the program. experts in recruiting, fitness nutrition, 9 asistants making six figures some 7 routinely. and then always looking for more opportunities at other programs.
3. huge capital expenditures and 8-9 figure capital investments
4. players see football as a career point and if they get the NFL quick 6 figures or 7 and nd (then they can go back get a degree at state u or some on-line program and still do wonderful
5 fans faced with escalating ticket prices and seat licensing or donation limits all to maximize the revenue
So answer yes transfers happen and programs lose free agents and successful teams are looking for free agents (players) and likely they will not be with the program for 4-5 years.... Just like the NFL.
It is what it is.....or
