I think Bede is going to take a back seat to Cartier Diarra this season b4

it's all said and done, FWIW. Bede is a great defender. It's also great that he takes care of the ball, but he's simply is not a confident scorer or even free throw shooter, certainly not in big moments. 22% from 3 last year and, just wow, 50% from the line.

Option 1: Cattor/Cone mix. The strides they made last season were very fun to watch. Both are fearless. I think you forget Cone should have been a senior in HS last year. I'm not sure why don't think they wouldn't be able to lead the troops.

Option 2: grad transfer with two years of eligibility left (they are a dime a dozen nowadays).

For my money, give me Carter Whitt all day, every day, over Jordan Riley. The kid can do it all and is an elite passer with both hands. He would be fun to watch. True floor general and true baller. MY would have some fun with that kid.
