That's what happens when you have the $ to hire a great team of recruiters.


If we want UNC's recruiting results, we need to get the same kind of financial investment UNC has gotten from their donors. It's not complicated. UNC is committed to building an elite football program. Committed from top to bottom. Committed from the university president, to the AD, to the top donors, to the coach, etc. They spent money to put together an elite team of recruiters and it's paying off.

If we want that result, better start ponying up more money.

Your analysis isn't wrong but just very short-sighted. This isn't about one recruiting class. This is about a strategic investment -- that's where we're playing catch up.

Fuente's flirtation with Baylor has at least gotten the ball rolling a bit from the AD. We'll see if it's enough.
