Yes. Turning it down would also be a bad move. That may be a factor. It


would be difficult to stay in a conference after turning down an offer to be THE MAN.

For that reason, the ACC may not look to an existing AD. I just read a list of 15 candidates in the RTD. He was one of the candidates listed. as well as the UVa AD. (Perhaps as a courtesy to both, but good picks nonetheless.)
