They get free tuition as well. These adults on full scholarship don't pay anything to attend school. They also get free tutors which any other student would have to pay $15 to $30 an hour to get. They also get special meals made just for them which isn't accessible by non athletes. They also get special workout equipment, dieticians, strength coaches, position coaches all which cost universities money and are only there for the athlete.

The rules implemented for the pandemic are there. You just don't like them because you think everyone should be wearing masks and never venturing outside. You are trying to impose your rules for what you think onto all of the players and staff and universities.

If they are not happy with the rules, DON'T PLAY. But that decision is for each player.
They can quit and get loans to pay tuition, room and board just like everyone else.
