Chris Beard has been a HC for 5 years total...made it out of the first weekend twice...so 40% of the time and his team was 18-13 this season

Since his time at Cincinnati (35 years) Bob Huggins has been out of the first weekend 9 times. So just above 25%. That number while only at WVU is 5 out of 12, so 42%.

Buzz Williams in his 5 years at VT got out of the first weekend once...or 20%.

All of these coaches and programs DONT make it out of the first weekend way more than they do. And those 3 coaches are seen as 3 of the absolute best in the business.

Mike Young, love him and he will do great things, but he isnt that level yet. And "that level" still isnt consistently in the Sweet 16
