OK...

To give you an idea of what we have been doing you can read my reply to twampman in this thread.

If you are starved for basketball conversation like I am... a brief description of my starters...

Point---6ft2 kid that can do it all and is our best player. Not super athletic but a gym rat and super smart as a bb player. Anticipates great. We actually use him in the back of our press. Averaged over 4 steals a game

2guard---5ft10 kid that can shoot but is a little slow. Has worked extremely hard and did a much better job defensively but still struggles with athletes

Small forward---6ft0 total effort kid. Hardest working kid i have coached. Not extremely talented but super coachable and drips sweat from effort

Power forward 6ft3 kid that is 2nd best player. Ability to shoot outside or post up. Physical, will bang around, 4.0 student and super kid

Center 6ft3 effort still comes and goes. At times makes you think really coming along but no self confidence amd can disappear. Not as quick as power forward but moves ok.

So our struggles in playing man come from a few things. For one we are not super athletic. For another our point and small forward both gamble too much. Our posts are not aggressive enough on ball screens. The list goes on. We did improve at it last year and used it more than we did when we had some size but still need to get better. We switch defenses a ton I would love to use man more.
