Mike Young has a different culture that he's recruiting to, as opposed to Buzz. But he has one. And I don't see him deviating from it, even at the risk of losing some otherwise high-profile recruits who might not be a good fit.

Our football staff is a completely different matter, and that's what I see as the heart of what's wrong there. I don't think Fuente has any core culture, or if he does he's either not able to sell it effectively, or he's not good at identifying players who are fits. As a result, our recruiting seems increasingly ineffective and desperate. And the same plague of player attrition that hovered over our hoops program for decades is now in place on the football side.
