I can't help but wonder if there isn't a financial motivation


Everyone knows that the California government manages its money about as well as a group of drunken sailors. Online classes have to be a lot cheaper, so could COVID-19 be an excuse to save a little money? Leaders can sanctimoniously claim to be protecting students while really saving a few bucks.
