Absolutely! Not being a Buzz basher, but..


his teams were a high wire act without a net. I don't think he "trusted" enough players to play to allow sufficient time for starters to rest, adjust to unplanned events, or prepare next year's squad.

Mike Young apears to approach roster management like a good business manager puts a staff together - focus on good job fit, complimentary parts, depth, looking ahead for succession planning, always use your entire budget (in this case - 13 scholarships), etc.

If Young and Babcock wrote a book on applying Business Mangement principles to Athletics, I'd buy it in a minute.
