Its kind of a snowball effect...maybe he wasnt a great shooter as a young kid, but he was way more athletic than everyone so he got to the rim at will. And if you get to the rim at will, you dont have a lot of desire to develop a shot.

I think he can be serviceable, but even that is going to take a ton of work. Theres a reason he had no offers out of high school. A 6'2 mid who isnt a guard who also cant shoot. Thats a tough mix. But he has an elite motor and great footwork. Theres a lot of give and take with him
