Sorry but a rural ED following a quarantine is not good data either.


Talk to some of the medical centers in NJ and Connecticut, they also reached or/are reaching capacity. This is not a NYC phenomenon any more than it was a northern Italy phenomenon. I don't know why you think that NYC has a 2 million hospital capacity, although I agree with you about crowded living conditions.

We never reached close to capacity either; but talking to doctors in the northeast has been eye opening. Similar sized hospitals and similar sized cities...several fold higher numbers. Maybe it's a pollution or demographics issue...either way, it's not the same.

We will see what the true experience will be after the start of the school year in the Fall viral season when kids are back at school.

Way too early for you to call it an overreaction. It was probably a good reaction that kept us from hitting capacity.
