The economy is closely tied to the spread of the virus. It’s the virus and not the government that will dictate things. For example, if the hospitals become overrun with Covid infections in DC, people are not going to be eating out or hanging out at bars.

It will happen if allowed. There’s no reason that history won’t repeat itself. I don’t need a model to tell me that. I said that about Italy.

But this logic that the government has caused all this unemployment is not true.

We will be okay if we are smart and make well thought decisions instead of the ‘whole country is going to die tomorrow from suicide’.
