Early data out of the US is that young
African American and Hispanics are another high risk group. Some reports of ICUs being comprised of 90% minority populations. Granted this was in big cities, but another variable to consider.
The other thing to consider is whether athletes will be unnecessarily exposed, have mild illness and then spread to family that then have bad consequences.
All things to consider but it seems likely several waves will happen over the next 12 months.
Seems like the question is how to adapt rather than do things the old way and expect a different result. Creative solutions needed until we have a major medical breakthrough.
