Here's the basic facts: 700,000 cases in the U.S. of all America


U. S. population 330,000,000. Do the math. That's 0.2% of the population was/is infected. Deaths are a smaller number, maybe 10% of all cases.

I appreciate the concern, and how the corona task force has handled the outbreak/pandemic. I'm sure some mistakes were made, no matter who managed the response. And we'll never know how bad it could have been. And any death is horrible and sad. But shutting down our country for less than one-quarter of one percent of the population is questionable, which means opening up for business should be done with care but certainly should not be done with continued massive retraint.

Let me also say how sick and tired I am of hearing the term "in these uncertain times" in commercials and by commentators. Sheeesh! Enough already!
