The only published data on remdesivir is a report of 50 patients out of the Univ of Chicago. They found that 63% improved but we have no idea if they did better then placebo. They started randomized trials now but this is really nothing to be excited about yet. The other agents are IL6 and IL6 receptor antagonists, and of course hydroxychloroquine. I have a close pulse on these studies and reports have been mixed.

No one hates good news just misinterpretation. I would love it if this was all over. Until then, action is needed not hope.
