#1 not happening unless there are high class players still to be added to this roster.. playerSSSSSS plural

VT won 16 games with the second to worst non conference schedule in all of NCAA. Lose their leading scorer. Everyone in the ACC gets better and VT plays a tougher schedule

#2 also not happening...VT did it in 2017-18 but they also had a 7-man rotation and all 5 players who scored double digits played more than 25 minutes per game...this season, Bede and Horne both played 28+ minutes and didnt hitbthe double digit mark, so either you're expecting them to almost double their scoring output or 2 MORE players will pass them and earn 25+ minutes...not happening

#3 he very well could leave early, but it isnt likely to be after year 1. He has injury concerns and will need more than a year healthy to score a 1st round designation

#4 you dont win COY with a middle of the pack team in the ACC

#5 I'm sure scouts will watch him, but he is a solid 2 years away

#6 there's a better chance COVID-19 goes away tomorrow than VT finishes top 5 this season
