Huh? What do you mean epidemiologists don't know?
Epidemiologists have been saying all along we need to take drastic measures that will last months or more, while those who are more economically focused are talking about "weeks".
Sure - there is a ton unknown about a new virus - but we shouldn't say epidemiologists "don't know" as they consistently stated:
* it spreads easily
* it kills a high percentage of elderly or those with pre-existing conditions.
* it isn't going to go away on its own, but hopefully warm weather will help
* it may mutate and come back worse
* it is going to overload hospitals if we don't level the curve.
* it is defeated by a vaccine, partial cure, or getting to a 60%+ infection rate across the population.
