The problem with this hypothesis is
You wouldn’t see hospitals now in clusters overrun by patients. The virus would have been there and many would be immune to that strand. This is likely wishful thinking by people.
All we can go off now is what has happened And is happening in other parts of the world. The evidence is pretty clear that this virus has the potential to overrun a healthcare system, and the healthcare in northern Italy is quite good. This idea that we have all already been exposed is comforting but purely speculation and there’s much more clear evidence that counters that argument...at least at the moment.
