I am fine with players not receiving a dime because someone

should only attend a college/university because he/she wants to earn a degree. Not to be there just to play a sport. If someone wants to just play a sport, then that individual should become a "professional."

People may say that some of the pro leagues in the US or North America don't allow someone to play in right after HS. I say "So what?" All the popular sports played in the US have pro leagues throughout the world. If someone has no desire to go to school, then go overseas until you are eligible to play in one of the pro leagues in the US. There is no reason the schools should take on the burden of being a minor league for a pro league. If there is enough of a demand to watch a minor league sport, then someone will start a minor league. Heck I am even fine with a college/university owning a pro team or even being the primary sponsor for a pro team.
