It’s a long way off, but Nashville may be hurting for a long time. It would be nice if it would do some good for VT to show some country love when we visit their school in the fall. Most of the MTSU students are from the state and probably more local than Blacksburg is for VT students. I recognize street names that were hit pretty hard this morning (like 5 points- a big bar scene on the east side of the city). It’s similar to a tornado tearing through downtown Blacksburg.

I’m sure there will be a Vegas strong type of campaign in the near future for Nashville. I’m working there this summer so I’ll have a better understanding on the ground, but I’d expect that it would take months for VT to start planning some sort of support tribute, jerseys with patches, stickers for helmets or whatever.

Hopefully VT can do something to help their community get through their challenges!
