I had been hearing that next year would be better than this year. Then, in today's podcast, Chris pointed out that we should view MY, with his system, in a manner similar to Bennett's structured system when he took over at UVA, as opposed to when Buzz took over here at VT. He pointed out that Bennett's 2nd year team really didn't show much improvement in terms of record, then they made the tourney in the 3rd year, then they were back to the NIT in the 4th - so Bennett's UVA only made the tourney once in the first 4 years, and didn't really take off until the 5th year. And then I thought I heard him say, "I don't know that next year will be a lot different than this year."

I guess I was clinging to hope that next year was going to be better than this year. Trying to be optimistic. This might be a long haul. Have to be patient. What are your thoughts?
