almost year round, except for when they take time out to 'dabble' playing for their high school team?

Yeah, dabble may be the wrong word, but the point being that for at least a decade now, the best players have focused on AAU while then still playing that part year for their high school. So they're playing a LOT and pretty much year round. Shouldn't the "Freshman Wall" be a relic of the past given that?
