I wasn't happy when I heard he was interviewing with Baylor, but they asked to talk to him and flew to Blacksburg. Once I heard the whole story, I got over it quickly. It's not like he started flying around the country begging programs for a job.

I have yet to see a projected VT starter enter the portal. We've lost projected starters to the NFL, but not to other teams. The portal is a good thing for everyone, and I don't begrudge any player for entering it if they want more playing time. Not sure why people get so worked up about guys entering the portal... IIWII
