I think there is an effort to address this
I believe the recent hires were very much geared towards helping with in-state recruiting.
Let's see if (hope) it works. We have to keep some of the higher level talent in state. I was a skeptic of this sentiment until I did a bit of looking and realized, even the top tier teams recruit their state well.
I think these are the players that we can use to build better depth even if they aren't the starters. Less likely to lose a kid due to a number of the "transfer" reasons if he is close to home already.
