I understand why it was a small class, and I like your optimism... I wish I had it. We are getting almost no interest from VA kids, and most of the ones we keep reading about on TSL have offer lists that, well, aren't that impressive. So, maybe Fu is a genius and has everyone else outsmarted, or maybe the 4-5* kids aren't that interested.

And comparing us to Clemson isn't a terribly bad idea IMO - we were beating the crap out of them not that long ago, they're also a state school in our conference, and whatever they're doing we need to emulate.

Don't worry, I'm not panicking - this is football, just a pastime for me, and our Ws and Ls don't make my diploma any more or less valuable. But to say we're on an upward trend is a stretch, and to rebuild the program is going to take several years of good-great recruiting, IMHO.
