That's TIC, right? LOL... how many 5* have we ever had outside of Kevin Jones and maybe Marcus Vick (can't remember if he was a 4 or 5*)?!

And I appreciate jonnyhawk's optimism, I really do... and I hope s/he's right - but to win consistently in CFB, we need to be in the top 20 in recruiting, and to excel we need to be in the top 10. We can't keep hoping for 2* overlooked players to become superstars, b/c the reality is they probably won't. And at the other end, most 4* players contribute, and most 5* players become stars. It's no coincidence that the teams in the top 10 of the final rankings every year are also in/near the top 10 in recruiting rankings for several years before that.

I hope the new young coaches will be better recruiters than the ones they're replacing. I loved Bud's coaching, but his recruiting results were pretty mediocre.
