landing the O Lineman originally committed to Ohio State last year we wouldn't have had a particularly good class last year.
These players are leaving, in part, because we're not playing for championships anymore. Etienne at Clemson stayed because they compete year in and year out for championships. Chuba Hubbard, a Heisman candidate running back at Oklahoma State announced this past week he was staying for his senior year in large part because there appears to be enough talent there to legitimately compete for a conference championship nest season. We have not for several years, and really only once the last 8 or 9 years. We're not the VT of the '90s and first 7 or 8 years of the 2000s. We are a middle of he pack program right now. Players will continue to leave at this or a greater pace until and unless we show them we can really compete for a championship, certainly divisional and preferably conference.
