he has learned is his career. My guess is since it is so low of a % either way that being prepared in addition to low % is better than winging it. It definitely worked since they didnt get a shot off which they may have been able to do with a heave otherwise. So it can be argued it was a very wise thing to do but I also dont think anyone is asking why you didnt call a timeout if you did not.
