As I have said many times, the playoffs are a joke. They are in no way a true college National Championship. Only a playoff between 4 teams that are selected by a committee from a list of always elite programs. Not even a Power 5 Championship since all the power 5 leagues have a team in the playoff. Va Tech and many others like it have almost no chance of every being selected. The ONLY thing that will change this is a playoff between all power 5 conference champions plus 3 wildcards. If you want a real Champion, this is the only fair way to do it.
