The point is simply that comparing Beamer's situation


with Fuente's doesn't work. Beamer was making $750K in 2000, good money for the time but only analogous to $1.13M today. So, a big raise then was much more impactful.

Fuente sits at $4M, so he makes roughly 4X what Frank made then in absolute terms.
