I don't post very often, but I enjoy reading what others are feeling about VT athletics. I guess I should not be amazed at the extremely personal and hateful comments about Coach Fuente, but I still don't understand the reaction by several. How many of you would have the opportunity to interview for a job in your home area for possibly more money and arbitrarily turn it down without at least hearing it out? We all loved Coach Beamer, but remember that he had pretty much committed to going to UNC and then reversed himself, and he had a lifetime of ties to Tech. I don't remember the hatred spilling over toward Beamer when he was considering leaving. I am excited about the returning players, the changes in the coaching staff, and the probable increase in recruiting results. Of course, I will probably get a lot of backlash for saying it, but maybe some just like to look on the negative side as a rule.
