Yeah. I think in many cases, it's simply the ante.
For a certain level of player/staff, a certain level of facilities and resources is required to be in the market for their services.
So, that stuff just gets you in the game. It doesn't guarantee anything. As a program and school, I guess the question is if you want to actually play in that sandbox?
Frank used to always say in regards to the facilities game (esp. back when they were fundraising for Merryman), you're either keeping up or falling behind. You're always having to build.
