IMHO this team would be best served to get into the NIT this year to prep for NCAA next season. Getting into NCAA this year will probably end in a one and done as we would most likely receive a lower seed. In the NIT we could probably win a few games against good completion and extend practice for a couple weeks. Next year we have help coming and a years experience under our belts. I realize all the negatives about NIT, lack of exposure etc. but still I would rather win 2 or 3 games in NIT this year than be 1 & done in NCAA where we will be overmatched in nearly every game. Also realize we might not get in either one. Long ways to go and a lot could happen.
