Lets look at the last 3 plays VT had on offense from 9:45 to 8:32 in the 4Q

Play 1: Shotgun option handoff that Hooker kept and went to the left for 3 yards (stayed in bounds, ran clock)

Play 2: Handoff to McCleese (10 rushes for 123yds at that point) who made the most of it and got 3 yards, tackled in bounds, ran the clock (Edit: For reference, McCleese's previous 2 runs had gone for 11 and 12 yds)

Play 3: WIDE OPEN slant to Hazelton. WIDE. OPEN. Hooker throws a 1,000MPH dart and Hazelton can't bring it in with one hand. The clock would've been under 8 minutes with a fresh set of downs on Kentucky's side of the field. They would've been on the 45 or closer in at that point.

What aggression was needed here? They ran a good set of plays that failed in the execution.
