Here are some thoughts I posted on the Subscriber board

as to why I think 2020 will be a very good year for VT. It lies mostly with the offense. It all starts with the OL. Everyone returns and Hoffman will be added. Nester and Hudson will have had an off season in the weight room, which they lacked in 2019. So,VT will have a physically stronger, more experienced group on the OL. The RB group will be much different and improved. VT will go from relying on two 185 lb RBs to having 4+ backs weighing 200+ lbs. Herbert and Lee are good additions. VT should have a very strong running attack as a result. The TE group will be strong with Keene,Mitchell, and Gallo...a combination of good blockers and pass receivers. The WR group will be talented and deeper than in 2019. Looks like Hazelton may return to combine with Turner and Robinson. Former 4*s Payoute and Pinckney and high 3* Bowick will add depth. VT will have a good starting QB whether it be Hooker,Burmeister or Patterson.
So,the 2020 VT offense will be difficult to defend. The question opposing defenses will ask...how do we stop them? If the defense, which returns 10 of 11 starters shows some improvement, the 2020 Hokies have a realistic shot at 10-2.
