Yes, receiver execution needs to improve
There were spots where poor execution (dropped passes, poor route running, miscommunication, not completing blocks on screens, etc.) proved particularly costly in losses. Conversely, the running game (Deshawn M. showed significant improvement in his game) execution and consistency continued to improve throughout the season and became a plus for the offense.
