Not sure if it was discussed, but THIS is the play that stuck in my mind

as the turning point in KY's last drive.... for two reasons...

first, this was at 3:46 in the 4th. 4th down and 7 to go for KY. They just tried another pass and it was incomplete. (watch past this play for a slow-mo look)

1) Why didn't our guys contest that it was a catch or SOMETHING? Even the coaches look like they just accepted it and moved on. That was so, close, I don't understand why that didn't happen. When watching live, it just looked like our guys were resigned to their fate and accepted it on this play. Meanwhile, KY is rushing to get the ball snaped, so a review can't get in.

2) There didn't seem to be a lot of urgency from the players, most notably...

First, when 45, Garbutt, gets the QB outside the pocket, he just runs laterally with the QB, rather than going AT him , or taking an angle AT him. I know that he was probably told to contain, but the play was busted, and it was time to put more pressure on him. the QB would have thrown worse in my opinion.

Second... when 17, Deablo, runs towards the ball, after the QB got it off, he just kinda lackadaisically runs toward it and sticks a hand out. A little more pep and a better reach or dive and I bet anything he disrupts it.

That was the Turning point in my view. It swung momentum even more than it had previously. I originally wanted to see the replay to see if the ball DID hit the ground, which I believe it should have AT LEAST been looked at, since it appears the ground aided the catch, but in the end, I also saw 45 and 17 playing without urgency, which was MORE telling about our demise.
