As disappointed as I was with the Belk Bowl outcome, personally I was pleased that our younger and less physically developed team stood up well against a much more experienced and physically imposing UK team. I actually thought UK should have been significant favorites to win the game despite their one-dimensional offense. I had watch them play a couple times this year and thought VT was staring at a 2-score margin of defeat. An off-season in the weight room is going to really help our younger players.
