Fuente said a couple of years ago that Cornelison was such a good coach he would be a head coach in the not distant future; Fuente said a couple of years ago, in a radio interview that his offense was so exciting "any high school QB in the country" would want to play in it; Fuente said at the beginning of this year, prior to the BC game, that he was really excited about this team and coaches; Fuente now says after the bowl game (after promoting to DC someone with little P5 experience) that he is really excited about next year and the state of the program.
At what point do we stop believing this man?
Ya, hard, smart tough. Out defensive lineman gets punched by the other teams QB and we do nothing about it (like take the QB out ); repeated mistakes on key plays like Chatman and turnovers; and our D gets pushed around again. Where's the hard, smart, tough?
