The Noles are underachieving as well. The Canes won 11 games in 2017.

We haven't done that since 2011. Sorry but the OP is right - Fuente's last 2 years have been mediocre.

We have lost a bunch of games as favorites - GT 2016-2018, Syracuse 2016, Virginia 2019, Kentucky 2019, have lost 3 straight bowl games and was down 24-0 in the bowl game we won, have won only one meaningful nonconference game WVU in 2017, is 14-12 the last 2 seasons. VT has lost 12 games by 10 points or more in his 4 seasons as head coach. This year was his first year when he didn't lose at least 2 games by double digits.

Fuente is 14-12 since getting a huge raise. That is unacceptable. When someone is getting paid 4 million a year we should expect better results than this. He has 2 more years to get things right IMHO and 8-5 with wins over 2 FCS teams isn't right to me. Next year's PSU and Virginia games are must wins and barring injuries - we need to win 10 games.
