I love Bud, Wiles, Mitchell, and burden but honestly recruiting more so than X and O is what’s preventing us from consistently being that second best team in the ACC and maybe even challenging Clemson a rare year or two. Especially defensive recruiting. Defense stacked with legit 4 or 5 stars that are nfl players makes a difference and makes most schemes work. Farley, Tremaine, settle, Kendall, Dax. Yes unheralded recruits also can contribute but 4 or 5 stars are generally a safer bet
