up that we get any sort of boost from beating App St. - both from a school and ACC standpoint. Losing to them would be the exact opposite in that the negative would be highlighted since it is not a P5 school.

I live about an hour or so from App St so I have nothing against them and the game would be a lot of fun like I said because of the proximity of fan bases. They may very well even beat us as you point out they are solid and have been very successful.

Without a doubt, the reality it's a pretty evenly matched game but maybe that is the point too that the game as a "glancer" from fans not in VA or NC wouldn't view it that way.
